James specializes in sale, acquisition and advisory services of investment real estate assets on a national basis. He has executed assignments for a multitude of clients, including sale-leaseback transactions for franchisees and corporations, publicly traded REITs, developers, private investors, and family trusts. James has successfully navigated a large volume of 1031 exchange assignments for his clients through his strong relationships with owners and brokers in the marketplace.

Based out of Marcus and Millichap’s Denver office, James’s local expertise compliments his knowledge of national real estate trends. Before Marcus and Millichap, James received a B.A. in Political Science from College of the Holy Cross, where he also played Division one lacrosse. He got his start in commercial real estate working for the Denver-based REIT Dividend Capital.
