a high barrier-to-entry mountain market characterized by limited land availability, elevated

construction costs and significant entitlement risk, all of which materially constrain new

supply and support long-term rent growth.

Courtney Crowder re-joined Newmark in 2022 and serves as Managing Director in the firm’s Denver office. In this role, she is responsible for the marketing and sales of multifamily assets across Colorado. Ms. Crowder brings to Newmark over 13 years’ experience in the real estate investment industry, with over a decade specializing in multifamily apartments. Over the course of her career, Ms. Crowder has transacted over 27,000 multifamily units totaling nearly $5 billion.

Prior to re-joining Newmark in 2022, she served as Managing Director of Investments for Grand Peaks Properties, Inc., a Denver-based multifamily owner, operator, and developer. At Grand Peaks, Ms. Crowder was responsible for sourcing new equity relationships, capitalizing investments across the platform, and overseeing company wide transaction management. Ms. Crowder worked in Newmark’s Denver office from 2017-2018 and was directly involved in the sale of over 9,000 apartment units totaling $2.4 billion. Ms. Crowder’s previous employment also included time with Redwood Capital Group and LaSalle Investment Management, both based in Chicago.

Ms. Crowder grew up in metro Denver and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder Leeds School of Business, graduating with distinction. She earned her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
