EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Preston came to Las Cruces in the year 2000 on a full ride football

scholarship to New Mexico State University. He graduated in 2005 with a

Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and a Minor in Journalism.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Preston brings experience from several industries. He worked at a local

franchised car dealership out of college. He started as a sales associate,

got promoted to being a finance manager and finished as a sales

manager. During his time in the car business, he negotiated hundreds of

transactions over a six-year time frame. After his time in the car business,

he opened a Captive Insurance Agency which he built from the ground

up. After seven years he joined the Las Cruces Fire Department after

gaining his National EMT license and has served the community since

2018. In 2019 Preston opened an Independent Insurance Agency which he

still owns and manages. He works with many clients of all financial

backgrounds. Preston also spent four years as a color commentator for

New Mexico State Football.
