Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Los Angeles, California, Mitchell graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a double minor in Business and Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mitchell worked at a local commercial real estate agency and quickly established himself as doing whatever it takes to perform for his clients. In his first few months in commercial real estate, Mitchell closed on multiple listings where other brokers were unsuccessful. He was able to accomplish this by developing a customized marketing plan to differentiate each property and, most importantly, investing the time and energy to make sure the best investors saw the assets.
