Stephen has been a prominent figure in San Francisco's commercial real estate scene for the past three decades, consistently ranking among its top leaders. As of 2023, he has facilitated the sale of over $2.1 billion in multi-family and other commercial properties across San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Since 2008, Stephen has founded and led five commercial real estate firms in the city. He initially served as the Managing Director for Alain Pinel Investment Group, earning recognition as San Francisco's #1 multi-family brokerage from 2009 to 2013. In 2013, he took on the role of President/CEO at Paragon Commercial Brokerage, overseeing a team of 30 professionals and maintaining the firm's status as the top multi-family brokerage from 2014 to 2017.

In 2018, Stephen returned to Pacific Union to lead Pacific Union Commercial. Later that year, Pacific Union, Paragon Commercial, and Alain Pinel merged with Compass Commercial, where Stephen served as President, leading over 90 agents in Northern and Southern California.

By 2023, Stephen moved to Berkshire Hathaway/Drysdale Properties, taking on the Director of CRE Strategy role, along with his team, Pacific West Advisory Group.

For the past 33 years, Stephen has been the President of the Income Property Marketing Group, the Bay Area's largest networking organization promoting the sale of commercial and investment properties. Outside of his professional life, Stephen is a member of prestigious clubs, including the St Francis Yacht Club, the San Francisco Yacht Club, and the Battery Club. He currently resides in Sausalito, California, with his wife and daughter.
