Soraya Sharifi-Slaughter

Soraya Sharifi-Slaughter joined Merlone Geier in 2015. Her primary responsibility is to serve as the project manager for owned assets and development projects in the Sacramento region.Prior to joining Merlone Geier, from 2009 to 2015, Ms. Sharifi-Slaughter was a Leasing Representative for Donahue Schriber Realty Group responsible for managing and leasing a portfolio consisting of over two million square feet of retail space. From 2007 to 2009 she was the Retail Director for Cushman & Wakefield's Sacramento office. From 2004 to 2007 she was a retail broker with TRI Commercial Real Estate.Ms. Sharifi-Slaughter graduated from California State University, Sacramento with undergraduate degrees in Finance and Risk Management/Insurance. In 2006 she received her MBA from California State University, Sacramento. In 2007 she earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute. She is an active participant in the International Council of Shopping Centers and was the ICSC Next Generation State Chair from 2010 to 2012. She is resident in the firm's Sacramento office and is a proud Veteran of the United States Army.
