Richard Olson joined POKO in 1999 with 17 years experience in the HVAC industry, managing commercial operations, engineering and sales. He has been responsible for design and project management of new and replacement systems ranging in value from $3,000 to $2 million. Richard directs the work of general contractors, architects, engineers and administrative and technical staff. Richard’s record of strong customer relations and effective management is evident in the organization and philosophy of POKO Management Corporation.As COO for POKO Management Corporation, Richard is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company—overseeing property managers, office administration and the bookkeeping department; and is also responsible for the firm’s financial management, vendor relations, tenant issues and maintenance and service activities. Richard works closely with general contractors and construction managers; is involved in planning and overseeing the renovation of occupied and vacant buildings; and serves as liaison on new construction projects for POKO Partners LLC.Richard Olson is also a principal of JAO Maintenance Corporation, where he oversees the daily activities of mechanics, superintendents and cleaning crews. Additionally, he maintains current relationships with contractors and vendors who have businesses in the target areas. Richard is committed to maintaining high-quality housing services and a high standard of living for all residents in POKO-managed buildings.
