Matt Contreras

Matt Contreras is the Managing Director for SKW Funding. In his role he focuses on the origination and execution of all SKW transactions including performing loan originations and non-performing note acquisitions. Matt also oversees portfolio management and day to day operations at SKW. Prior to his current role, Matt has had several years of experience in acquisitions, finance and portfolio management on a wide variety of asset classes, including multifamily, commercial, and retail with an emphasis on distressed assets and value add transactions in the New York City market, including a role with NYC based Bluestone Group, a seasoned non-performing note buyer. He has a bachelor's degree from Duke University.
