Mason McDavid joined Hunter Hotel Advisors in 2023 as a Vice President to assist in establishing the firm’s Austin TX office. He executes hotel transactions across the United States with a focus in Texas and the neighboring states.

Prior to joining Hunter, Mason was a Senior Associate with Paramount Lodging Advisors where he sold 60 hotels representing $300MM in total value. During his tenure he executed transactions primarily in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana for institutional, private investment, and special servicer clients including RLJ Trust, Starwood Capital, Blackstone Group, Rialto Capital, Midland Loan Services, and LNR Partners.  Additional work experience includes Reuveni Real Estate and Venture Capital Properties in New York City as well as FelCor Lodging Trust in Irving, TX.

Mason received his Bachelor of Science at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration with a Minor in Real Estate in 2016 and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business in 2022.
