Just 7 minutes from the Property is Texas Tech University, one of the largest universities in Texas with more than 40,000 students and a major anchor of the city’s economy. The University Medical Center, also located on campus, is a 500-bed teaching hospital employing 5,000 people and housing the only Level I Trauma Center in West Texas. Additional demand is driven by Lubbock Christian University, the semiconductor manufacturer X-FAB, and downtown cultural attractions including the $158 million Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences.
