John Renslow is a Senior Hospitality Broker at Avison Young. With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, John has held brokerage and leadership roles at Coldwell Banker Commercial, Greysteel, and CBRE. Before transitioning to commercial real estate, he spent 15 years in public accounting with PwC and EY, providing him with a strong financial foundation that enhances his ability to structure complex real estate transactions.

John holds a master’s degree from the University of Virginia, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, and a Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management Certificate from Cornell. A Navy veteran, he developed a passion for travel during his service, which aligns with his focus on the hospitality sector. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time fishing, hiking, skiing along with trying new restaurants.
