Joe Spicer

Joe Spicer is a Managing Principal and Director of Investments at Flying Horse Investments (FHI), where he is responsible for the overall investment activities of the firm, including investment underwriting, structuring and financing, strategy formation, and performance measurement. He is a founding partner of FHI and sits on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Before joining FHI, Joe had a longstanding career in real estate finance and investment management at CS Capital Management. Most recently, he was a Managing Director for the firm’s Investment Management Division and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Joe has worked with a range of institutional investors and executed investments across all commercial real estate property types and risk profiles. Throughout his career, he has completed in excess of $5 billion of real estate underwriting and transaction volume and has specialized in various investment functions, including acquisition sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, financing, asset management, and strategy formation. Joe joined CS Capital management in 2006 from City National Bank and began his professional career at Capital Group.

Joe received a B.A. in Business Economics from Brown University in 2002. He is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Los Angeles.
