Flying Horse Investments LLC (FHI) is a real estate investment firm guided by principals with nearly 100 years of institutional and private client experience acquiring, selling, financing, repositioning, leasing and operating commercial real estate, predominantly retail shopping centers and net leased retail properties in growth markets throughout the U.S. Our mission is to acquire “suburban necessity-based retail” assets and utilize our expertise to enhance value through leasing, repositioning, and/or redevelopment, providing our investors with outsized risk-adjusted returns that would be difficult to achieve without our extensive team, infrastructure, and history of relationships. FHI leverages the institutional infrastructure of Pegasus Asset Management Inc. for property management, construction and project management, leasing and development services.

Flying Horse Investments is focused primarily on “suburban necessity-based retail” properties, which we define as small-format retail shopping centers primarily comprised of food, service, and everyday needs retailers. We pursue properties in growing markets across the United States that are well-located within major retail corridors with high barriers to entry or near significant demand drivers such as universities or hospitals. We target properties where we can add value through active management, including leasing (mark-to-market of below-market rents, vacancy lease-up, improving tenant mix), physical improvements, re-development, outparcel development, or break-up of shopping centers into higher valued component parts.
