Jason St. John is a Co-Founder of Greenstone Partners and serves as Managing Partner, actively advising clients and directing the brokerage firm’s investment sales efforts. The firm, established in 2013 by Jason, Peter Weitz, and Leo Solarte was founded on the principles of providing the most thoughtful and highest caliber advisory services to its clients.

Over the past decade, Jason has closed commercial real estate transactions in aggregate value exceeding $750 million, while also acting as a mentor to the brokerage team and expanding the firm’s market reach. As an investment sales advisor, Jason assists clients with the acquisition and disposition of retail, office, and industrial properties. He is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and an active member of ICSC and the Urban Land Institute.

Prior to co-founding Greenstone Partners, Jason was a Senior Associate in Marcus & Millichap’s Downtown Chicago office for nearly six years. There, he earned the distinction as a Top 20 National Office and Retail Investment Sales Broker. Additionally, he has earned numerous industry accolades throughout his career. Most recently he took home the honor of the Real Estate Journal’s 2023 & 2022 Broker Team of the Year award and the 2023 & 2022 Greater Food Depository Chicago Real Estate Awards’ Broker of the Year — Private Capital.

Jason attended Central Michigan University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Business Management. He is active in a variety of charitable organizations, including Imerman Angels, a not-for-profit, one-on-one cancer fighter/survivor matching organization, where he is actively involved and previously served as President of its Professionals Board.

While Jason now considers himself a Chicagoan, he grew up in both Michigan and Iowa. In his free time, Jason can be found on the golf course, bike path, hiking, traveling, or at a Chicago Bears game.
