Gary Muljat

Gary Muljat joined Merlone Geier in 2012. His primary responsibility is to provide oversight on leasing and project management across the portfolio. Previously, he served as project manager for owned assets and development projects in the Sacramento region. In that capacity, Mr. Muljat was responsible for ensuring the execution of the Company’s strategy for assets in the greater Sacramento region. Prior to joining Merlone Geier, from 2009 to 2012, Mr. Muljat served as Vice President, Director of Leasing for Pacific Capital Investments. Mr. Muljat was responsible for operational, leasing and asset management for the company’s commercial portfolio. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. Muljat was a partner with Panattoni Development Company. Mr. Muljat founded and was responsible for the Northern California retail development office, overseeing the acquisition, development, management and marketing of retail and mixed-use projects in the region. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Muljat was with Kimco Realty Corporation in a variety of capacities, ultimately serving as Regional Vice President responsible for all operational aspects of a 10.5 million square foot shopping center portfolio. From 1995 to 2001, he held Director of Real Estate positions with CVS Pharmacy and Hollywood Entertainment. Mr. Muljat graduated in 1988 from the University of California, Santa Barbara with undergraduate degrees in Business-Economics. He is an active participant in the International Council of Shopping Centers, a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and a licensed real estate broker. He is resident in the firm’s Sacramento office.
