Gary Cornish is a Managing Director with Newmark Capital Markets based in Phoenix and focuses on representing private and institutional investors in the acquisition and disposition of industrial and flex properties throughout Arizona. His specialties include investment sales, owner-user sales and sale leasebacks. Over the past five years, Cornish has closed over 60 transactions valued at more than $750 million.

Prior to joining Newmark, Cornish served as a Senior Associate at CBRE for four years. Before beginning his career in commercial real estate, Cornish was a pitcher for the New York Mets organization for three seasons after being drafted out of the University of San Diego in 2016.

Cornish graduated from University of San Diego, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
