Biography
David joined Ackman-Ziff in 2012 and launched Ackman-Ziff’s investment sales team, integrating this service line with Ackman-Ziff’s debt and equity practices.
David’s career has been highlighted by the recapitalization of major shopping center assets nationwide. He has sold or financed numerous noteworthy and trophy retail properties including: The Westchester, Tysons Corner Center, Stamford Town Center, The Starwood Urban Portfolio, The Court and Plaza at King of Prussia, The Source at White Plains, Easton Town Center, Suburban Square, and Bergdorf Goodman’s Flagship Store.
Before joining Ackman-Ziff, David was a Senior Vice President at Acadia Realty Trust, where he oversaw retail acquisitions by the REIT for its core holdings, as well as sourcing and investing in value-add assets for its opportunity fund. He also was a member of its Financing Committee and facilitated disposition of non-core assets. Prior to Acadia, David spent 20 years at Eastdil Secured, most recently as a Managing Director , where he was the co-head of the retail transaction team. David started his career as an Analyst with Lazard Realty, in the residential and office development group.
David holds a B.S.E. in real estate finance from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania as well as a B.A.S. in civil engineering from Penn’s School of Engineering and Applied Science.
