Daniel Hughes

Daniel Hughes, Envolve’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, was the founder of Summit Housing Partners, LLC and served as the Chief Executive Officer of BSR Trust, LLC (one of our investors) from 2008 until 2013. Prior to founding Summit in 1996, he worked in investment banking with a focus on housing and economic development. Daniel is a member of the Board of Directors of BSR REIT, a publicly-traded Real Estate Investment Trust on the Toronto stock exchange, and serves as a trustee of Alabama Heritage Fund. He is a member and current Vice Chairman of the State of Alabama College Counts Board of Directors, which oversees Alabama’s 529 College Savings Plan. He previously served as Chairman for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce and as a trustee and executive committee member for the Alabama Real Estate Research and Education Center. Daniel received a BA in History from the University of Alabama, an MBA from Georgia State University, and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University
