Chris Malay serves as Director at Greenstone Partners, advising clients on the acquisition and disposition of multifamily and mixed-use properties throughout the Chicagoland suburbs. Chris joined Greenstone Partners in 2025 to lead the expansion of its multifamily division into the suburban markets. Throughout his tenure, Chris has been involved in transactions totaling more than $85 million throughout the Midwest, primarily in suburban Cook and DuPage counties.

Prior to joining Greenstone Partners, Chris spent eight years at Marcus & Millichap, where he launched his career in investment sales, focusing on suburban multifamily and mixed-use properties. He is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and earned his bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.

Outside the office, Chris is a hockey coach at Fenwick High School and enjoys golfing, attending concerts with his fiances, and biking with his dog Chelios.
