Biography
Cecil serves as Executive Vice President of Hyatt Commercial, focusing on Commercial Real Estate Sales in the State of Maryland. In his first seven years in the Business, Cecil brokered over $186MM in transactions, across more than 1 million building square feet, representing more than 145 clients. Cecil rose to be the number one producing broker in the company in his 5th year, and is consistently one of the top producers in the company annually. Prior to his joining Hyatt Commercial, Cecil served as a consultant, helping small businesses streamline their systems and processes, and as an economic development consultant analyst assisting cities with large real estate developments, including a 100+ acre project in Princeton, New Jersey. Cecil has a diverse background with involvement in politics, social media, logistics, operations, and event logistics. He is also an experienced public speaker having presented on stage with renowned speakers Gary Vaynerchuk and David Osborn. Cecil has served as an appointed member of the Comptroller of the State of Maryland’s Business Advisory Council under Peter Franchot from 2019-2022; contributed to multiple task forces for the City of Annapolis, including the Transportation Task Force in 2017 and the Affordable Housing Taskforce in 2020-2021, and formerly served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Chesapeake Baysavers Foundation. Cecil currently serves as a commissioner on the Historic Preservation Commission in the City of Annapolis. Cecil is a native of Annapolis, Maryland, and currently resides there, spending his spare time managing his real estate investment portfolio, researching geopolitics, and seeking adventure around the world with his wife and son. He graduated as a triple major with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Accounting, and Business Administration from McDaniel College.
