Bruce McKee

As a Principal with Capstone Development Partners, Bruce brings three decades of experience working on capital projects with colleges and universities to each CDP project. Since joining Capstone nearly 20 years ago, Bruce has been responsible for overseeing the development of more than 16,000 beds of student housing, multiple dining facilities, wellness/recreation centers and various academic, campus support and administration facilities across the country with a total development value of more than $2 Billion. His development experience ranges from projects in New York City to San Diego to Seattle with many projects in between. He is an active participant in the development process, bringing both educational and professional experience in planning, architecture and construction. As a project’s Principal and Project Executive, Bruce works closely with development team members, university stakeholders and partners, consultants, and municipal leaders on each of his projects. He oversees the Capstone development team staff and often serves as an important liaison between universities, financing entities and other team members, as well as the regulatory agencies and community organizations during all phases of the development.
