Amy McConnell

Amy McConnell is Director of Acquisitions for Fuqua Development. She is currently leveraging her expertise as both a tenant and a developer by focusing on real estate site selection for development opportunities. A capable leader with extensive experience in retail development, Amy brings a proven track record and more than 25 years in the industry. Amy has been part of the Fuqua team since the end of 2019. She began her development career working with Jeff Fuqua at The Sembler Company. Major projects included the Edgewood Retail District, Lindberg Plaza, Perimeter Place and The Prado. Major tenants within these projects included Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s and Publix among others. After leaving Sembler, Amy developed several Publix anchored shopping centers. Before rejoining Fuqua, Amy most recently worked directly for The Kroger Company adding corporate grocery store knowledge to her experience with grocery anchored shopping centers. Other corporate real estate positions included Hollywood Video and Taco Bell Corporation. Amy holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the University of Miami. Amy has resided in Atlanta for over 30 years and has a great working knowledge of all the southeastern markets. She is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia and South Carolina.
