Overview

The Elkhorn Resort represents a rare and transformative development opportunity, poised to redefine the experience of Estes Park for decades to come. Together with the adjacent Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the most visited national parks in the U.S., Estes Park serves as Colorado’s premier destination for outdoor adventure, city-wide events, and is consistently ranked among the nation’s top 10 wedding markets. With extremely high barriers to entry, including limited available land, restrictive zoning, and stringent environmental and historical development constraints, opportunities of this scale and character are virtually impossible to replicate.

Spanning a 64-acre site with a legacy dating to the original Elkhorn Lodge with buildings dating back to 1874, the project melds historic charm with contemporary experiential hospitality to meet strong, underserved, and growing demand. Some of the concepts outlined here are placeholder ideas, with final execution and branding to be determined by the development team.
