Agreement Schedule:

  • Assuming Letter of Authorization (“LOA”) is signed by 7/27/2026:
  • Initial project development will begin after a LOA is provided to PPL EU, along with a $350,000.00 downpayment, as well as proof of real estate ownership.
  • Final detailed engineering will begin after the Electric Service Agreement (“ESA”) and Construction Service Agreement (“CSA”) are executed.
  • PPL EU estimates 3-5 months to coordinate final ESA with the Customer
  • Customer must sign ESA prior to December 23, 2026 to continue to proceed with proposed project schedule.
  • PPL EU estimates 5-9 months to coordinate final CSA with the Customer.

Transmission Capacity Availability:

  • Phase 1 (up to 180 MWs) – 32 to 42 months from LOA signature.

1. Computer Data Center Equipment Exemption Program

  • Enacted in 2021, computer data center equipment is exempt from Pennsylvania sales and use tax when it is sold to, used, or consumed in a certified data center by an owner, operator or qualified tenant holding a Computer Data Center Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption issued by the department.

 

2. Incentives from the OBB and State of Pennsylvania:

  • H.R.1 – One Big Beautiful Bill Act: 100% depreciation in Year 1 of new plant.
