Michael Watson joined Avison Young in 2025 as Senior Vice President specializing in the acquisition and disposition of net lease investment properties nationwide. With deep expertise spanning retail, industrial, multi-tenant, medical office, sale-leaseback, and zero cash flow transactions, Michael brings a strategic approach to every engagement.

Before joining Avison Young, Michael worked with Northmarq (formerly Stan Johnson Company), where he played a key role in completing more than $2 billion in transactions across 43 states. Michael has managed sales teams with over 45 members and has consistently achieved record sales results throughout his career.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds an MBA in Leadership and Organizational Management from Georgia State University.
