Bio

William Rosato has over 25 years of experience as an architect developer in planning, designing, and building residential and mixed-use developments. In 2010 he founded Alpine Development, which has now merged with Schefler Development Group and formed Alpine Real Estate Group. At Alpine and with the well-known public and private real estate firms of Lennar, Tarragon Corporation, and Lincoln Property Company, Mr. Rosato has successfully completed developments exceeding $1 billion.

 

With Alpine Development, where Mr. Rosato is the Founder and Managing Partner, during 2010-2013 he developed 4 communities totaling 214 residential units in the north-west section of Hoboken, New Jersey, known as The Artisan Series (www.theartisannj.com). In the Bergen Lafayette section of Jersey City, New Jersey, he is developing 575 residential units. Construction began on the first building, BELA, consisting of 104 residential units, in 2018 (www.BeLaLiving.com). The full development will take place over several phases, and completion is anticipated in 2025.

 

From 2015-2018 William Rosato held the position of Vice President of Development for LMC, A Lennar Company. LMC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lennar Homes and is a leader in the development of luxury rental communities nationwide. At LMC Mr. Rosato was responsible for New Jersey land acquisitions and development. His project, The Lively, at 321 Warren Street in Jersey City, New Jersey, marked LMC’s first foray into Jersey City’s downtown market. The 18-story building has 180 apartments, 1,350 square feet of retail space, and a 14,200 square foot black box theater, the area’s first large-scale theater (www.thelivelyapartments.com). Completion is 2019.

 

Prior to forming Alpine Development and his tenure with Lennar, Mr. Rosato was President of Tarragon Development Corporation and Executive Vice President of Development and Construction for the parent company, Tarragon Corporation. Headquartered in New York City, Tarragon was a national development company focused on innovative, high-density communities. At Tarragon he managed multi-family and mixed-use development projects from 2003 to 2010 in the states of Connecticut, New Jersey, Tennessee, Florida, and Texas, where he helped build over 2,000 residential units comprising approximately 2.5 million square feet of residential and commercial area.

 

Before joining Tarragon, Mr. Rosato was Vice President and Senior Project Manager for Lincoln Property Company, the Dallas based private multi-family development company. There he managed developments in Jersey City and Montclair, New Jersey, totaling 642 residential units from the years 2000-2003.

 

From 1993-2000 Mr. Rosato held positions in the New York offices of Bovis Lend Lease and Skidmore Owings and Merrill, as a construction manager and architect.

 

William Rosato received his BA and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a licensed architect in the states of New York and New Jersey, and he’s a member of the American Institute of Architects.
