William Gerrity

Bill Gerrity has over 30 years of experience in the investment, acquisition, development, management and disposition of real estate throughout the western U.S. Bill establishes and directs the implementation of the overall investment strategy and operational direction for Gerrity, functioning as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer. He has operated in partnerships with Morgan Stanley, Principal Financial Group, Washington State Investment Board and the endowment of a major east coast university to acquire and operate neighborhood and community shopping centers in California, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado and Washington. He founded the predecessor to Gerrity Group in the early 1990s and has grown and managed fully integrated operating companies while acquiring and selling properties in the western U.S. and in China and India. Bill serves on the Board of Directors of the New America Foundation and Zocalo Public Square and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Pension Real Estate Association and the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at UC Berkeley. He is a graduate of UCLA with a B.A. in History.
