Bio

After military service as an Army officer, Bill Farber was hired in 1970 to be an in-house attorney for Philip J Levin, who began real estate development prior to 1950 and was among the pioneers of shopping center development in the U.S.

Thereafter, in partnership with Mr. Levin’s widow, Janice H. Levin, Bill organized Levin Management Corporation and served as Chief Operating Officer of the company until 2001 when he became Chief Executive Officer. He became Chairman of Levin Management in 2019 and continues to serve actively in that position while also serving as a fiduciary for the Levin family business interests.

In his 49 years of association with Levin, Bill has been instrumental in the development and re-development of more 10 million square feet of now profitable properties and has overseen Levin Management Corporation as it has ascended to a position of preeminence in the field of retail real estate services.

Bill is a graduate of New York University School of Law, admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. He is a licensed real estate broker in both states and a long time ICSC member.
