Whit MacCuaig

Whit serves CREG as Vice President of Development. Since joining CREG in 2014, Whit has managed the development of 3,136,000 SF of industrial real estate, deploying $186,600,000 in investment capital and construction financing. Whit’s passion for construction, especially site development, continues to deepen his value we bring our development partners. Whit’s approach to development is based upon teamwork, drawing on CREG’s network of partners across the spectrum of authorities, engineers and contractors who touch our projects. Whit is responsible for managing our project’s design, permitting, construction, financing and reporting. Whit works on the initial due diligence, underwriting and venture structure of potential development projects. Prior to joining CREG, Whit spent six years in public accounting at Ellin & Tucker, Chartered. Whit is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Maryland, bringing extensive audit, accounting and tax experience to CREG’s team. Whit received a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Baltimore. Whit’s expertise in accounting and finance offers our partners a unique advantage in our development project’s financial reporting, bridging the inherent gap between the books and the field.
