Wendy Vandeventer is a senior director within JLL Houston's Retail Investment Sales group, where she partners with 31-year veteran, George Cushing. Together with Cushing, Ms. Vandeventer exclusively represents sellers of retail investment properties throughout the United States with an emphasis on Texas properties. She is directly responsible for the structuring and implementation of marketing strategies, managing the process from the valuation stage through the due diligence period to the close of sale.
During her 25-year career, Ms. Vandeventer has been involved with the development, management, leasing, disposition and acquisition of investment properties throughout the United States and has extensive experience in all aspects of the investment sales transaction process. Ms. Vandeventer started her investment sales experience with CB Richard Ellis with the multifamily investment sales team. After two years, she left the company to establish the brokerage firm now known as Apartment Realty Advisors with David Oelfke and Matt Rotan, two of the leading multifamily investment brokers in the country. Ms. Vandeventer was instrumental in the formation and operation of the company. She created the corporate identity package and designed and produced all marketing and collateral materials such as offering documents, sales brochures, company brochures, print advertisements, newsletters, direct mail pieces and web site design. In 2005, Ms. Vandeventer joined George Cushing with Grubb & Ellis to focus on retail investment sales.
