Walker Sojourner

Walker Sojourner is Vice President of Development at Columbia Development where his primary focus is procuring and overseeing projects in the southeast region. Walker specializes in site selection, market analysis, financial underwriting, entitlement and execution of retail oriented development projects. In his five years with Columbia Development, Walker has been an integral part of several projects ranging from single and multi tenant retail developments to grocery anchored shopping centers, including Fenton, a 2.5 million square foot mixed use project in Cary, North Carolina opening in April of 2022. A graduate of Clemson University, Walker earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2014 and Master of Real Estate Development in 2017. He is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and currently serves on the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Management Committee and is a member of the Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC). Walker is also a member of the Columbia East Rotary Club and Ezekiel Mentors group.
