Bio

Mr. Tegeler is a Vice Chairman in CBRE’s Newport Beach office. He began his tenure at L.J. Melody in Houston in 1995 (prior to the CBRE merger in 1996) and joined the loan production team in March 1997. In December 1997, he relocated to Southern California to help expand the company’s presence in the region.

Over the course of his career, Troy has been responsible for the origination of more than $20 billion, with transactions ranging in size from $1.0 Million supplementals to portfolio financing in excess of $1.65 Billion. He has been recognized as the top CBRE producer for the Newport Beach office for each of the past 18 years and has been a member of the prestigious CBRE Colbert Coldwell Circle, honoring the top 3% of producers for the company nationwide, annually since 2005.

Specializing in multifamily loan originations across the country, Mr. Tegeler’s team has participated in the origination 1,600 transactions totaling more than $40.0 billion since 2004. Under Troy’s leadership, the team earned the title of CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance National Top Overall Multifamily Production Team of the Year from 2012-2015, #1 Freddie Mac originator for CBRE’s Western Region in 2007, 2012, 2015, and 2016; and #1 FNMA originator for CBRE in 2017 and 2018. The team’s extensive experience and unrivaled work ethic has designated them as #1 in Multifamily originations at CBRE to-date since 2004.
