Travis Coutts

Travis is an Director in Ackman-Ziff’s Boston office. Travis assists in the execution of commercial real estate transactions including the underwriting, structuring, and negotiating of joint venture and preferred equity partnerships.

Prior to joining Ackman-Ziff, Travis began his career at Mar-Gulf Management, the international real estate investment management arm of Kuwait Financial Centre (Markaz). While at Mar-Gulf, Travis worked directly with the U.S. executive team on the underwriting, structuring, negotiating and closing of over $225mm in direct acquisitions and JV equity investments in office, multifamily, industrial, retail, mixed-use, and self-storage assets across the country. Subsequent to Mar-Gulf, Travis worked at Kimco Realty where, as Senior Financial Analyst, he focused on the financial planning and strategic asset management of a $6.6B portfolio comprising 145 open-air shopping centers across the western United States.

Travis holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Travis earned his CFA charter in 2016 and is a licensed CPA.
