Tracy Eccles, CFA

Tracy is an Executive Vice President and HIMCO's Head of Insurance Portfolio Management. She is also the Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for managing The Hartford's General Account portfolio. Previously, Tracy was a Senior Portfolio Manager on the Insurance Portfolio Management team. Prior to moving to a role in insurance portfolio management, Tracy was HIMCO's Head of the Multi-Sector Fixed Income Team, which managed Core, Core Plus, Intermediate Core and other broad-based fixed income styles. Tracy joined HIMCO in 1986 as a trader of various fixed income securities and became a portfolio manager with the Multi-Sector Fixed Income Team in 1992. Prior to joining HIMCO, Tracy was an International Trade Officer for Chase Manhattan Bank. She earned her BA in Government/Economics from Smith College and her MBA from Northwestern University, and is a member of the Barclays Index Advisory Council.
