Commercial real estate veteran Tony Jones brings more than a decade of experience to his role as Senior Director of Office Tenant Advisory at Cushman & Wakefield's Miami office. As an integral part of South Florida's team, Mr. Jones focuses on delivering optimal real estate solutions to corporate and institutional tenants, major law firms and both global and local businesses. With short and long-term goals in mind, Mr. Jones provides results that fit within his clients' overall business strategy by leveraging his extensive market knowledge to specific requirements. In addition to tenant advisory services, Mr. Jones also specializes in workplace strategy, single real estate transactions such as lease acquisitions, market and site analysis, and purchases.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Jones was Managing Director with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank where he developed business tactics that provided a competitive environment, which led to favorable results for his clients. Key assignments included an office building acquisition totaling 100,000 square feet in Cypress Creek, a lease restructure for DeVry University of more than 100,000 square feet, as well as large-format leases for Pearl Holding Group, Business Financial Services, the law firm of Welbaum Guernsey, and the Miami firm of Adams & Adams. Most recently, Mr. Jones assisted Verizon with a valuation of a 750,000 SF data center in Miami, FL.
Education, Memberships & Awards
Mr. Jones, a native of Columbia, South Carolina, graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. While working for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, he was a top producing broker in 2012 and part of the top three producers for 2011. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of Florida and is also a board member for Educate Tomorrow. Mr. Jones and his wife are the proud parents of a son and two daughters.
