Bio

In July 2019, CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) acquired CBRE | MEGA,  a long-standing joint affiliate and the leading full-service commercial real estate services operation in Omaha.

Todd  Cushing  is  a  Vice  President  and  the  Director  of  Critical  Environments  Practice  at CBRE|MEGA.    He  provides  our  brokers  and  salespeople with  invaluable  knowledge  regarding data  centers  and  technical  facilities.    He  also  assists  our  brokerage  team  by  evaluating  data center needs for our clients.

Todd  spent  the  previous  29  years as an executive  with an  international provider  of  electronic commerce and payment solutions.  Todd managed 12 U.S. domestic data centers and seven U.S. command centers, in addition to managing operations in Asia.

Todd  began  his  career  in  the  operations  of  voice  call  centers.    He  worked  his  way  into management  and  concentrated  on  learning  his  area  of  expertise  of  technology  management systems.  Systems planning, performance and procurement launched him into facility planning.  The  industry's  growth  in  "systems"  drove  major  investments  in  data  centers.    Todd  was responsible  for  planning  and  managing  the  build  and  operation  of  the  data  centers  and  the hardware in those locations.

Tenant representation has become Todd's area of expertise.  He has also worked on data center park developments and is very active in the data center community, attending both national and regional  7x24,  AFCOM  and  Uptime  events  and  conferences  on  a  regular  basis.    Todd's exceptional  work  performance  garnered  him  awards  for  completing  large-scale  data  center projects on time, under budget and without impact.  Todd's expertise in data centers and other technical  facilities  allows  our  CBRE|MEGA  team  to  provide  clients  with  the  most  accurate information, allowing them to make the best decisions for their business.
