Bio
Tim Rivers is responsible for driving the firm's strategy in Florida with a focus on business development, client service and team building. He oversees all business lines servicing corporate, occupier and investor clients within the state, including Tenant Representation, Agency Leasing, Retail, PDS, Property Management and Capital Markets. In addition, Tim is responsible for the integration of services with the firm's global corporate solutions business. Tim provides integrated real estate solutions for clients by leveraging the expertise of the firm's investment sales and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, agency leasing, tenant representation, property management, PDS, as well as appraisal and consulting services. Utilizing a life-cycle approach to creating, enhancing and protecting investment value from acquistion due diligence through a competitive sales process. He offers both clients and colleagues strategic planning and the execution and implementation skills needed to maximize returns while mitigating risk.
Tim joined JLL in September 2018. With more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate, Tim has extensive experience in real estate contract negotiations, corporate transactions and property management. Before joining JLL, he served as Senior Managing Director of Asset Services at Cushman & Wakefield, where he was directly responsible for the oversight of investor services in Florida. Previously, he was Regional Director of Management Services and Managing Director of Brokerage Services at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, as well as served as Director of Asset Services at CBRE earlier in his career.
Tim graduated from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He's an active member and serves on the board of directors of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Tim is a licensed real estate sales associate in Florida.
