Tim Durie

Tim Durie is the head of the Dallas office and is responsible for the acquisition, development, and positioning of the communities in his market. Tim participates in all aspects of the real estate development process. Tim cultivates strong relationships with community leaders, associates, investors, and business partners, and creates a team-like atmosphere with all those involved in the process. Throughout his career, Tim has held numerous positions in the areas of labor relations, employee relations, executive search, and as a human resources generalist. Prior to 2021 Tim served as SVP, Organizational Development and prior to that SVP, Human Resources for Newland. Before joining Newland, Tim was the Director of Human Resources for Dallas-based developer Terrabrook. Before this, he served as Director of Human Resources for Westbrook Partners, Terrabrook’s golf business. Tim is a full member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Community Development Council (Gold Flight). He also serves on the Board of Directors of the North San Diego Business Chamber. Tim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
