Timothy Choi

As Vice President of Acquisitions, Tim is responsible for sourcing new real estate investment opportunities and will spear head our expansion into new markets. Tim has over ten years of real estate experience primarily focusing on the acquisition of land for ground-up development throughout the US (United States), as well as investing in multifamily assets in the five boroughs of New York City. Prior to joining Point Acquisitions, Tim served as the Vice President of Acquisitions for an institutional multifamily developer – Cypress Equity Investments (CEI) and led east coast acquisitions as well as their foray into both Dallas and Denver markets. Prior to that, Tim led acquisitions as the Director of Acquisitions for RA Cohen & Associates – a family office primarily focused on the investment of value-add commercial real estate assets throughout the five boroughs of New York City.

Tim has his Masters in Real Estate Development from New York University (NYU) and has his Bachelor's from the University of Washington - Seattle, WA. Tim is an avid cyclist and recently relocated to the Washington DC (District of Columbia) suburbs from New York, NY.
