Thornton Mallard (Charles) is a Director of Investment Sales at Avalon Real Estate Partners, acquired by Walker & Dunlop in 2022. Representing both buyers and sellers, Mr. Mallard’s primary focus is land brokerage of residential, industrial, and retail sites in the Atlanta MSA.

Mr. Mallard joined Avalon Real Estate Partners in 2012, and prior to that worked at Cousins Properties as an assistant project manager and director of sales for a second home residential development, Blalock Lakes in Newnan, Georgia. In addition, he worked at Bullock Mannelly Partners in Atlanta, where he represented buyers in their acquisition of multifamily land sites.

Mr. Mallard earned a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from the University of Georgia and is a licensed real estate agent in Georgia. Additionally,Mr. Mallard enjoys golf, fishing, and playing music, as well as spending time with his wife Sam and son Wilkes.
