Bio
Tom joined Pappas Properties in 2017. His role at the company involves acquisitions, deal structure, financing, asset management, and lease and sale transactions. Tom recently completed the recapitalization of our Atrium Medical Office buildings in Midtown Charlotte and the final lease up, sale and recapitalization of the Sharon Square mixed-use project in SouthPark. His current responsibilities include the future developments at our Atrium-Anchored mixed use development project in Midtown Charlotte as well as other future development acquisitions in the Charlotte, Raleigh, and Atlanta MSAs. Prior to Joining Pappas Properties, Tom spent three years at Tishman Construction, an AECOM Company in New York City. During his tenure, he held roles and responsibilities in program management, finance, accounting, and data management and analysis. He also worked with multiple government municipalities and agencies (local, city and federal) on the Hurricane Sandy Build-It-Back Project. Tom is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, dual Bachelor of Arts – Economics and Communications
