Terry Hickey

Terry is responsible for overseeing technology, corporate services & innovation within the firm. He also works with portfolio companies in Onex’ private equity platform in identifying, creating and driving value in technology related areas.

Terry serves on the not-for-profit board of Renascent which is focused on addiction and mental illness.

Prior to joining Onex, Terry was the Chief Analytics Officer and the CIO of Corporate Centre Technology for CIBC. Previously, he worked in various roles in consulting at IBM culminating as the Global Leader for Analytics and Artificial Intelligence for Global Business Services. His leadership has enabled technology-focused workplaces, with an emphasis on staying current, ethical, and agile.

Terry holds an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto.
