Bio

Ted Kellner, CFA is the Executive Chairman of Fiduciary Real Estate Development, Inc. (FRED) and one of the founding members of FRED. He is the retired founder and portfolio manager of Fiduciary Management, Inc., an investment management firm established in 1980. Ted earned his BBA in Finance, Investment and Banking at the University of Wisconsin School of Business in 1969 and participated in the Brittingham Scholar program at Oslo University in 1969. He served as Vice President and Research Analyst for Brittingham, Inc. of Wilmington, Delaware from 1969 to 1973 and as Vice President of Milwaukee-based Nicholas Company, Inc. from 1973 to 1980. Ted has served on and continues to serve on various corporate, charitable and educational/civic organizations including American Family Mutual Insurance Company, Park Bank, BMO Harris Bradley Center, Lakeview Equity Partners LLC, Children’s Hospital System, Chipstone Foundation, Fund for Wisconsin Scholars, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc (past Chairman), Greater Milwaukee Committee (past Chairman), Medical College of Wisconsin, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (past Chairman), University of Wisconsin Foundation, and University of Wisconsin National Alumni Association. Ted and his wife, Mary, reside in Mequon, Wisconsin. They have three adult children and five grandchildren.
