Real Estate Wichita, broker-associate, Industrial Division Director

Job Functions: Executive, Development, Leasing, Legal, Property & Facility Management

Bio

Ted Branson has been a commercial-industrial specialist for 38 years, with the first 24 years as a broker with Branson & Associates (B&A), Inc., a family owned commercial brokerage and property management company, working with his father, the late Robert “Bob” Branson, until his passing in February 2002. In April of 2002, Ted opened the Wichita for Coldwell Banker Commercial (Stucky & Associates), bringing it along in a difficult market to a substantial body of listings and clients, until the owner lost the residential and commercial franchise rights in August of 2009 in the collapse of the housing bubble. Over those seven years, he has been talking with Landmark’s Brad Saville about somehow joining forces, and the collapse of CBC simplified the decision, leading to the creation of Landmark’s new Industrial Division, and completing the formation of what is now a full service commercial-industrial-development-investment-property management brokerage. Landmark has been a great fit overall. Ted handles sales, consulting, leasing, and property valuations for all types of commercial real estate, working with a growing network of brokers, developers, accountants, attorneys, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county zoning, planning, and permitting officials and other business consultants toward realizing the resolution of his clients’ needs. He has years of experience with, and has managed all types and sizes of leases and sales for retail, office, warehouse, manufacturing, mini-storage, land, and investment properties. Properties handled range from 1,000 sq. ft. to 500,000 sq. ft. and transaction values have ranged from a few thousand dollars to $12 million. Clients and prospects have been local, small, medium, and large businesses, as well as regional, national, and international individuals and companies. Ted’s drive is to make commercial and industrial real estate transactions happen even in these very difficult economic times, listening well to his clients’ needs, drawing from his years of experience, being up on the latest marketing trends that apply to this field, and then brining that to bear on clients’ and prospects’ needs. He has earned Multiple Masters Circle & President’s Club Sales/Leasing awards over the years… but the best rewards are satisfied clients and prospects of all types, sizes who are out there trying to meet a need, fulfill a dream, or just make a living in all sorts of interesting ways. Ted graduated from WSU in 1977. He is a member of NAR, KAR, WAAR, and the local CCIM chapter. He as two sons, Blake, 26 and Jeff, 21. He is blissfully married to his new wife, Rhonda. Other interests: God and church, various ministries, guitar/singing, constitutional government, and health/fitness.
