First Vice President

Job Functions: Investment Sales & Acquisitions, Landlord Representation, Tenant Representation

Bio

Taylor joined CBRE in 2015 through its merger with UCR. He was with UCR since April 2013. As First Vice President, Taylor provides expertise on multiple business lines including landlord, tenant and developer representation. He works with institutional, super-regional and local landlords giving him a broad perspective on each individual landlords needs through his ability to speak to different structures, mentalities and end goals.

Taylor has the pleasure of working with established institutional landlords including KFK Group, Simpson Property Group, Blackstone Group, Heitman, State Teachers Retirement of Ohio, and United Commercial Development.

His background in national, super regional/franchise and local tenant representation consistently proves to be of the utmost value to his clients. For example, Taylor sparked a relationship with six-unit operator, Edohana Sushi, and brought them to a fast casual "express" concept in Uptown Dallas. He then helped to elevate the company's product to upscale, even rebranding it as Edoko Sushi. Today, it is the top rated sushi restaurant in Collin County and is growing with the new line and expanding its market reach and presence that it previously lacked. Taylor provides counsel beyond that of real estate by providing long-term, strategic business development expertise.

Taylor has extensive experience in developer representation, providing assistance during site selection for a variety of end users as well as counseling developers through the development process to an exit strategy. The knowledge he has gained working on both the tenant and landlord sides has given him a versatility to evaluate all sides of a deal allowing for a seamless stream of communication throughout.

Prior to joining UCR, Taylor was a Vice President with the John T. Evans Company for five years. There he was able to work on all sides of the business, establishing a firm grasp on restaurant tenant and property representation, and expanding his business base to include developer-led site procurement and land sales. Taylor also worked with Allegiance Development in Addison, Texas, where his primary duties included sourcing new business opportunities, leasing pad and shop space and lease coordination.

His hobbies include playing golf, skiing, listening to live music and traveling to new places. He's a Plano native and has pride in the evolution of development throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
