Tara Anderson

As one of ProEquity’ s Director of Asset Managers, Tara is responsible for managing the company’s rapidly expanding commercial portfolio in Northern California; primarily focusing on the Bay Area surrounding regions. She is personally responsible for directing a management team handling over approximately 550,000 square feet of real estate assets and developments. Prior to joining ProEquity; Tara had a wide range of real estate background in commercial real estate, including, most recently; a Senior Asset Property Manager at Borelli Investment Company in charge of Silicon and Central Valley portfolios, and other finance and business administrations prior to. While one of the few colleagues with the firm for over 15 consecutive years at Borelli, Tara partnered closely with a colleague to handle real estate duties including management, leasing & selling, and acquisition which enabled their portfolio to grow to over half a million square feet. Tara’s involvement in working closely with her Team, Tenants and Vendors; enabled her to achieve her client’s goals to add substantial value to their real estate investments. Tara’s knowledge ranges from working with multi-tenant office buildings; industrial complexes, retail shopping centers- small and large; and now becoming more common-commercial condominium association management. Over the years, she has successfully developed new organizational programs, efficient reporting and budgeting templates, energy efficient programs, and successfully implemented a staff of team members with vital roles in achieving compliance with proper commercial management proving in a reduction of expenses and increase in cash flow. In addition to Tara’s strong ability to manage, sell and lease; she brings a knowledge of construction; management of capital improvements to small tenant build-outs. Whether implementing or assisting construction teams; Tara plays a vital role in managing and inspecting that the work at hand is always performed in the upmost professional, and safe manner and to client and or tenant’s expectations. Tara is a licensed real estate professional by the State of California. As well, she holds a valid license as a National Notary Public issued selectively by the Secretary of State. In addition, she continues her membership in her Local Livermore Business Merchant’s Downtown Association; as well as attends and participates in a number of other private and public real estate organization events and meetings; such as Boma, Crew, and the Tri-Valley Association of Realtors. Outside of her professional career, Tara was born and raised on the East Coast at a young age and brought to the West Coast in which she has called home ever since; but still believes in her strong New York roots. After graduating from De Anza College; and becoming a licensed real estate professional in California, Tara is happily married to an independent residential designer; a proud mother of two beautiful girls; a new grandmother; and still manages to find spare time to enjoy a side business of cake making.
