Bio
Steve co-founded CWS in 1977 as one of the three original partners, growing the company from ten employees to over 820 currently and transitioning our focus from mobile home parks to our exclusive focus on apartments today. Steve provides high-level strategies to maximize risk-adjusted investor returns, reviews of all potential acquisitions, dispositions, and developments, and expands capital relationships, as well as being involved in a number of philanthropic efforts outside of the company. Steve has a Bachelors of Sciencedegree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a Global Board Member and former Chairman of the Board of The Hunger Project, an organization whose sole mission is to end chronic hunger in the world. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas Tech Foundation, and is an active member of World President's Organization and CEO Organization. (CRD# 1901510)
