Bio

Steven M. Schultz is an executive managing director with Newmark. Over the past two decades, Mr. Schultz has negotiated and developed deals totaling more than eight million square feet and $8 billion of total trade value, and has cultivated strong relationships with a diverse range of clients, strengthening his reputation as being one of the most active and accomplished real estate professionals operating in the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut markets.

 

Mr. Schultz's unique style and leadership allows him to attract and secure notable clients across all asset classes who continue to work with him on their endeavors as they move forward to grow their businesses. His vast knowledge and expertise in the markets which our team remains most active, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, makes him a trusted advisor to his clients, and helps guide the continued growth and expansion of Newmark Capital Markets in the non-performing and performing loan space as well as REO and investment sales.

 

Prior to joining forces with Newmark, Mr. Schultz was CEO and co-founding member of Helios Capital Advisors and co-founder of The Schultz Organization, LLC. He additionally helped form and cultivate the rapid success of two other companies, Pyramid Property Partners, a development company and Onyx Equities, LLC, a private equity fund.

 

Mr. Schultz feels strongly about giving back to his community through fundraising and volunteering efforts, and is very active with several charities and organizations including the National MS Society, Move for Hunger and American Cancer Society. He currently sits on the board of directors for The Count Basie Theater located in Red Bank, New Jersey and most recently served as chair of its Restoration and Renovation Committee for the duration of a three year, $10 million renovation and restoration project to return the theater to its former grandeur.
