Bio
Steven Rock joined the Westchester office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. (MMCC) in July 2009. He is a structured finance professional for Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of MMCC. He is responsible for securing commercial real estate debt, equity, preferred equity, and mezzanine financing for all property types including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, senior housing and hospitality. Mr. Rock has experience in structuring complex financial transactions, including construction and large development projects. He is well connected with national and regional funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (e.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private equity and public funds, REITs, bridge lenders, family offices and high net-worth real estate investors. Mr. Rock has more than 20 years of capital markets and commercial real estate finance experience and closed more than $1 billion in commercial real estate financing in 2013. Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Rock served as senior vice president with The Carlton Group Inc. He was also a vice president and senior financial executive with Citigroup for more than seven years. Mr. Rock holds a real estate license in the state of New York and many financing certifications. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).
