Steven Berkson

A veteran financial and investment counselor, Steve is the founder and president of Berkson Asset Management, Inc. He holds the distinguished Personal Financial Specialist and Certified Financial Planner designations, and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). In addition to his financial planning and investment experience and credentials, Steve is a certified public accountant. His experience includes service as a manager with Touche Ross & Co., one of the nation’s largest public accounting firms, as well as founder and president of the firm, Steven M. Berkson, CPA, A Professional Corporation. He is a member of the Financial Planning Section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Committee of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. A native of Buffalo, New York, Steve moved to California at an early age, and was raised in the San Fernando Valley section of Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA, and a Master in Business Taxation from USC. Steve resides in Calabasas, California with his wife, Sherri, and their two daughters, Ariel and Hannah.
